With members as a starting point

SME-D is a non-profit association with an annual association meeting as the highest decision-making body. The nomination committee proposes candidates for the board and the annual association meeting appoints the board. The board is then responsible for the ongoing operations and meets at least four times a year. In addition, SME-D has its office at the Swedish Association of Technology Companies' Industry Groups, which work on behalf of the board.

Ambassadorship

SME-D works with ambassadorship towards authorities and organizations that we wish to maintain ongoing contact with. The aim is to work for more assignments from FMV to SME, but also to engage members. As an ambassador, you are expected to promote SME-D's message, have contact with counterparties a few times a year and monitor related news and events. Reporting back takes place mainly during network meetings.

Reference answer

One way to actively pursue SME issues is by responding to referrals from authorities, investigative groups and various committees. The association responds to a number of referrals each year and all members are welcome to participate in this work according to their own interest, ability and wishes.
