Yesterday, January 24, 2017, SME-D (The Swedish Association of Small and Medium Size Enterprises in Defense and Security) gathered for networking and information exchange at member company Teleanalys. After the regular agenda, including discussions about exports, referrals and the Defense Company Days in-depth seminars, a tour of the company was conducted.

Representatives for SME-D were, as before, on site to monitor the perspectives of small and medium-sized enterprises at the National Conference in Sälen. The report is sent out to all members.

The aim of the seminars is to provide a deeper understanding and knowledge of current issues and needs within seven sub-areas. DEFENSE. Responsibility for the operation and maintenance of equipment should be moved back to the Armed Forces, the government's investigator proposes. The goal is to achieve clearer leadership and to provide better conditions for the military units. The investigation is now being sent out for consultation and the government will then return to the Riksdag with a bill. Read more here.
