Spring meeting and networking event

Welcome to the joint spring meeting and networking event for SMITH (The Swedish Association of Small and Medium Size Enterprises in Defense and Security) and SACS (Swedish Association of Civil Security) at Teknikföretagen in Stockholm. 

During a full day, members can take part in interesting lectures and network with industry colleagues and also across organizational boundaries. 

The day begins with Spring meeting and networking event for SACS under the theme ”"Civil innovation in practice"” and during the morning we will listen to Vinnova's Director General, Darja Isaksson, who talks about their innovation program for dual use. We will also get insights and reflections from companies that have made the journey and now deliver to both the civilian and military markets. The morning ends with a joint lunch.

The afternoon begins with Spring meeting and networking event for SME-D with the theme ”Innovation in the defense sector from an SME perspective”. FMV's Director General, Eva Hagwall, will give the opening speech and we will then listen to Rickard Stridh, Head of Research at the Swedish Armed Forces and Björn Wollentz, Head of Research and Development at FMV before we end the day with a panel debate and a joint mingle.

Documents for both associations' annual meetings are sent well in advance of the meeting by the respective association's office.
