Full house at joint annual meeting with SACS
On June 21, SME-D and SACS – Swedish Association of Civil Security held a joint annual meeting and networking event at Teknikföretagen in Stockholm. The theme for the day was innovation: Civil innovation in practice and Innovation in the defense sector from an SME perspective.
A record number of members were able to attend the respective annual meetings, listen to inspiring speakers and network with industry colleagues. Among the speakers were Vinnova's Director General Darja Isaksson, FMV - Defence Materiel Administration's Director General Eva Hagwall, Rickard Stridh, Head of Research at the Swedish Armed Forces, and Björn Wollentz MSc, Head of Research and Development at FMV.
During the formal part of the annual meeting, a new board was elected, among other things. We thank Marie Louise Rösiö andMagnus Soderstrom for their efforts for SME-D and welcomes our new members Karl Kallstrom (Knowit Dataunit) and Fredrik Hessel (CAG Novus Consulting).
