Logtrade is developing next-generation software for logistics based on the Internet of Logistics standard. This work is being carried out in collaboration with IBM, Ericsson and Nvidia, as well as universities such as Stanford, UC Berkeley, UC Davis and Iowa State University, as well as leading Swedish universities. The Internet of Logistics means, among other things, that it will be easier for all actors to share data in a controlled manner, and that products will receive unique identities. With the help of these identities and connected sensors, products can communicate directly with, for example, trucks, delivery vans, warehouses and restaurants, and thus be able to both move and sell themselves.
