In this series we present our members, where they talk about their activities and why they are members of SME-D. Now it's the turn of Blågrön Totalförsvarskonsult.

Bluegreen Total Defense Consultant AB is a consulting company within the total defense area that creates and delivers knowledge in technology and management with a focus on management systems. We also conduct training in the marine area with a focus on navigation and seamanship

Who do you work with/deliver to?

We work with companies and authorities in the total defense area. Currently, FMV is the largest customer.
In education, we mainly work with private individuals but also provide lectures and training for companies.

Do you have employees who are active in the defense sector, deployed to war or veterans?

One of our employees is active in the Swedish Navy Corps and works there on a voluntary basis with training in the field of navigation for those who will later go on to the Home Guard. One employee is part of a Volunteer Resource Group (FRG) in the Stockholm area.

What professional roles (industry-specific) are available at your company?

Project Managers, System Engineers, Verification Managers and Trainers. Furthermore, we work with innovation mainly in the sensor and control system area.

Why are you a member of SME-D and what do you want to get out of membership?

We are part of SME-D to gain access to a network that provides inspiration and knowledge and, not least, opportunities for joint business and interfaces with larger companies and authorities.
