The day began with a case study about LUFS and LSS Mark by lawyers from Uppkraft, followed by insights from Helen Widin at FMV about how small and medium-sized companies can do business with the authority.

Patrik Brimedahl from Swedbank analyzed how the global defense industry is changing and how the capital market views Swedish defense and hybrid companies.

Panel discussion with the Defence Committee: How the capital market can support SMEs

During a panel discussion with Defense Committee discussed how financing and investments can be improved for Swedish SMEs in the defense sector. Participants included Hanna Gunnarsson (L) and Gustaf Göthberg (M).

Improved export support in the defense sector – the government's investigation in focus

Viktoria Klevensparr, investigation secretary in 2024 Defence Export Review, presented the state's plans to develop support for companies with international ambitions in defense and security.

New board elected for SME-D – thanks to outgoing members

SME-D elected a new board during the annual meeting. The new chairman is Andreas Nilsson from Knowit Defence Technology. The association also thanked the outgoing members Karl Kallstrom and Fredrik Hessel, and especially the chairman Jaime Rico for his great commitment.
