Get to know our members – Rybro International

In this series we introduce our new members, where they talk about their activities and why they are members of SME-D. Now it's Rybro International's turn.

Rybro International manufactures and sells the Mine-Guzzler mine clearance machine, which is developed and tested by Bofors Defence.

Who do you work with/deliver to?

We work through FMV, the Swedish Armed Forces and MSB and, where necessary, have permission from ISP. We have had good help from Business Sweden in Ukraine and the embassy in Kyiv.

Do you have employees who are active in the defense sector, deployed to war or veterans?

Not right now, but we are open to collaborations with Veterans and especially people with experience in mine clearance.

What professional roles (industry-specific) are available at your company?

Mine clearance/munitions clearance in the ground

Manufacturing/service/sales of heavy machinery

Why are you a member of SME-D and what do you want to get out of membership?

An individual company like Rybro International AB has advantages from being part of an industry organization like SME-D to obtain information and network for common interests.
