Air Force<\/a> is celebrating 100 years. It is big and transformative. To have the privilege of participating in this event as a representative of SME\u2013D is a favor.

Jonas Wikman<\/a>, Chief of the Air Force, opened with a speech about the history of the Air Force, where we stand today and what the future will require.

Three things to take with us from day one:

\u2b50\ufe0f Speed \u2013 speed in terms of continuously developing tactics, technology and skills is of utmost importance in facing the wars of the future.

\u2b50\ufe0fAir Power is bigger than Air Force \u2013 air power is not just something for the Air Force; it is much bigger than that, and we need to exploit that more and increase our understanding of it.

\u2b50\ufe0fFight as one \u2013 integrating the various elements of multi-domain operations as a seamless system-of-system creates the conditions to meet future threats and adversaries. It is a must!

From SME, we would like to congratulate the Swedish Air Force on its 100th anniversary and look forward to the future 100 years.

At the same time, we thank you for allowing us to be here and contribute to a common future based on democratic values and human rights. Thank you!
