SCIP is a new database for consumers about hazardous chemicals in products.<\/h2>\n

SCIP \u2013 is the abbreviation for Substances of Concern In articles as such or in complex objects (Products).<\/p>\n

When goods become waste, the presence of hazardous substances can make the waste unsuitable for recycling. The EU has a goal of non-toxic material cycles. To promote such a development, it has European Chemicals Agency ECHA<\/strong>, has been commissioned to create the SCIP database to which suppliers of goods must report the presence of particularly hazardous substances in the goods. The information is thus available throughout the goods' entire life cycle, including the waste stage. The rule is new and is in Waste Directive 2008\/98\/EC<\/a>. It will enter into force on 5 January 2021. More information can be found at The Swedish Chemicals Agency's website.<\/a><\/p>\n

On November 19 at 10.00 \u2013 14.00 (Swedish time)<\/strong>
